Today, let's talk about BREAKFAST － the first meal of the day. 

There is a well known phrase: "Breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dine like a pauper". 

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it provides energy and nutrients to our brain and body after a long sleep. Furthermore, breakfast also helps to maintain our healthy body weight so please don't miss it up :) 

These years, "Brunch" is a common word that we use to describe the combination of breakfast and lunch. Nowadays, we are busy working or studying during weekdays; waking up late during weekends. Most of us have not enough time to have their breakfast in the morning, so "brunch" becomes our good friend. ^^ To satisfy the need of customers, plenty of cafes and restaurants have provided various choices of brunch, likes, Antipodean, Mr. and Ms. Cafe, etc...

Let me share with you my joyful brunch experience at Antipodean, Mid Valley ~~

Antipodean is an Australian-style cafe. It serves more than 30 different brunch dishes for its customers.
And, it doesn't provide menu to its customers instead of the list of dishes is written on a huge black board which is hanging on the wall.

The red shirt man is the boss. 

A bottle of water is served by a staff after I sitting down. 

Hmm, the dinning environment is good -- simple and comfortable design.

However, I felt a bit hot >< because I actually sitting at an open-air area. 

*All the employees there are well-trained. They are so much friendly.*

It was my first visit. I totally had no idea what suppose to order as my brunch. 

Thus, what I did was -- I ordered a signature big breakfast and a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice. 

Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice -- RM 10

Fresh squeezed orange juice without sugar. If you want sugar, add it yourself. 

Signature Big Breakfast -- RM 19

Toast, bacon, mushroom, scrambled egg and hash brown. 

The portion of the mushroom and scrambled egg is quite big.
Crunchy toast, soft scrambled egg with a bit runny, fluffy hash brown.
However, the bacon and mushroom are slightly oily for me.  

A great day starts with an excellent meal.

~ release your stress

It was 11pm on Saturday's night, my dear and I were feeling peckish at the moment >.< 

"What to eat? What to eat? What to eat?"

"Well, we drove to SS2 for some snacks then."

We passed by a row of shops in the dark and I had attracted by a bright, cute designed signboard.

"Dear, it's so cute :P Looks! Crowds!"

(Well, I am a typical Malaysian who follows the crowds always)

 So, here we are...

Once we get to an empty table, two cup of lemon waters were served with a menu to by a staff.

U-Desserts is a true Malaysian brand dessert house which started from Johor Bahru. It serves delicious Hong Kong style desserts with natural ingredients that are healthy and no preservatives. 

To satisfy local taste buds, it has integrated Malaysia's local fruits into its dessert recipes <3 

 The pleasant interior design makes customers feel likes dinning at home.

Unfortunately, this shop is a bit narrow to me. 

(Similar with Hong Kong dessert shop, minimum space fills up with maximum tables and seats >.<)

Yummy and not too sweet.

Fried Chicken with Mushroom Sauce

***Mixed vegetables with small portion of rice, fried egg, potato wedges with thousand island sauce, and chicken chop with mushroom sauce***

The potato wedges is great :P , 

however, the chicken chop is a bit sad --- 85% oil and flour; 15% chicken meat...

Not much special ~

 Crazy Waffle with Ice-Creams

** Waffle, fruits, vanilla and chocolate ice-creams with 2 pieces of Oreo biscuits **

Taste good but it should be served after my main dish. =.=

Curry Fish Ball with Rice Roll

The dish of a spicy lover <3 The curry was so much yummy (thumb up) !

A completed meal :P

Hungry Bunch -- Sunway Pyramid

Hey Hey! Are you still feeling HUNGRY even you have taken your meal? 

Well, let me introduce you a new dinning restaurant which aimed to make you feel FULL and SATISFIED ~ (wink)

It was just opened in Sunway Pyramid on June 2nd, 2015. 

Sunway University students and people live nearby may come and have a try on it!

The cashier faces to their main entrance and it looks similar to saloon cashier as well ~ 

By the way, this kind of design is considered as quite modern. (based on my personal opinion)

This is how the restaurant's MENU looks like. 

This menu has separated into four major parts: 

Brunch.Pasta.Local.Dessert

Of course, it covers beverages and snacks too :) 

Simple interior design, soft lighting and appropriate music

These elements have brought their customers into another dinning enjoyment level. 

Iron seats and sofa are available in the restaurant too.

Decoration of the wall was the main subject in this photo ya~

Two rows of bulbs were right above me >< erm, a bit warm~

It was my hungry, sleepy day.

So, I had ordered a cup of long black with a plate of Marinara. 

If you love tomato sauce with pepper, I strongly recommend you to have a try on their Marinara. 

Although the sauce was a bit watery, it's taste was well situated. Not too sweet or too sour. 

For me, the portion was enough to full my stomach as well ;) 

Due to mussels were out of stock today, so the staff had replaced it with prawns. 

Here, I would like to give a big THUMB UP for their excellent customer service! 

Their big smile and warm customer service left a deep impression on me. 

Once you entered into the restaurant, they will welcome you warmly; address you politely; then take your order patiently.
